The Pyrex Classic 2.1L Casserole is manufactured in France from borosilicate glass. As well as being BPA free, Borosilicate is also hygienic and resistant to stains, odours and scratches. It is also able to withstand extreme temperatures, from -40°C to +300°C and is thermal shock resistant up to 220°C - it can go straight from the freezer (-20°) into a hot oven (200°C). Other key features of this useful dish include side handles which help make the casserole easier to hold when using oven gloves or potholders. As glass is a non-porous substance it does not retain flavours, allowing you to easily switch between sweet and savoury dishes.
